ABOUT RRS
Sand Pit Directions
From Northbound Highway 75, take exit 74 (frontage road), go left under the freeway. Turn right (North) on the Southbound frontage road (two way). Follow frontage road around the West side of the Texas Tourist Bureau, proceed toward the Red River, go under the Hwy 75 bridges and you will enter the sand pit.
The office is located across the sand pit.
- The speed limit is 15 MPH.
- Please tarp under the bridges.
- Stay in your truck when in the loading area.
- Communicate on CB Channel 8.

Monday - Friday
7:00am until 4:30pm - weather permitting
*Call 817-841-8310 for pit conditions
If you are arriving in the afternoon, make sure you are in the sand pit no later than 4:00 pm, as the sand pit closes promptly at 4:30pm.
